Randwick Campus Redevelopment
The Randwick Campus Redevelopment has been designed to expand the world-class health, research, and education facilities at the Randwick precinct. A new integrated acute services building will offer expanded adult emergency department and intensive care unit, four new digital operating theatres, expanded psychiatric emergency care centre, new medical assessment unit and research, education, and training spaces.
Work is underway on the building, which is set to open in 2022.
The FFE Group is responsible for user consultation, the specification and procurement of FFE for the expanded emergency department and FFE development for all areas of the new building.
Westmead Redevelopment Project
The Westmead Redevelopment project is transforming healthcare in western Sydney.
The $1 billion project – the biggest health infrastructure project in the state – includes a new central acute services building, with two new emergency departments, operating theatres, surgical suites and state-of-the-art pharmacy and imaging.
The project also includes significant refurbishment to Westmead Hospital.
The new hospital building opened in March 2021.
Forensic Pathology Coroners Court
The world-class forensic medicine and coroners court complex is the largest of its kind in Australia, offering high-tech facilities, including new courtrooms, private viewing and counselling rooms, advanced teaching suites and AV technology to enable more comprehensive coronial investigations.
The $91.5 million facility opened in 2018.
The Nepean Redevelopment will deliver contemporary and expanded hospital services, and integrated community health facilities for the Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District.
The redevelopment of the Nepean Hospital is being carried out in stages. The NSW Government has committed $550 million to deliver Stage 1 and $450 million to deliver Stage 2.
This will also include the construction of a $26 million multi-storey car park on Barber Avenue to support the expanded services on campus.
An expansion and upgrade of services is also being carried out on the Nepean Cancer Care Centre, Blue Mountains Satellite Renal Dialysis Centre and Somerset Cottage.
The Cooma Hospital Redevelopment includes upgrades to existing facilities to deliver high quality healthcare for the Cooma region now and into the future.
The redeveloped hospital will provide the community with an expanded Emergency Department, a new maternity department, a new ambulatory care centre and an expansion of the medical imaging department.
The NSW Government is investing $18.6 million to redevelop Cooma Hospital.
Concord Hospital Redevelopment (stage 1)
The $341 million redevelopment will include a new centre for rehabilitation and aged care, a comprehensive cancer centre, improved access and dedicated patient drop-off zones, and a new atrium with retail opportunities.
The project is underway.
Calvary Retirement Village (Ryde)
The Calvary Retirement Village is a boutique village, offering 20 quality, self-contained units, designed to encourage independent living.
It also offers a shared community centre with kitchen and lounge, landscaped garden and fully-maintained community grounds.
Schools Infrastructure is committed to providing the best learning environment for children, including designing new classrooms, providing additional infrastructure, upgrading facilities and maintenance.
The FFE Group are currently working on a range of projects for Schools Infrastructure across NSW, including classroom re-fits and COVID-19 adaptive spaces.
Campbelltown Hospital Redevelopment (stage 1)
Construction has commenced on the $632 million upgrade of Campbelltown Hospital and the redevelopment will bring world-class health care to the community.
